Overseas Forest Information Service is committed to helping individuals and private companies, finding ways to expand to overseas market

Recently, interest in overseas forest investment is rapidly growing in various fields to secure Certified Emission Reduction, biomass (SRC), bio energy, as well as forest resources. However, in many cases, they experience difficulties and confusion in seeking business opportunities as social and economic investment environments, system and procedures for overseas forestation investment are much different in foreign countries.

To overcome the difficulties and secure stable forest resources, ‘Overseas Forest Information Service’ system has been built to offer a platform for information sharing and provision on high-profile forest investment of each country for individuals and private companies interested in overseas forest investment.

‘Overseas Forest Information Service’ system is developed and operated by Korea Forest Service and Korea Forestry Promotion Institute and extensive range of information is uploaded, including reference, support system, major tree species and fieldwork guide, to gather and provide quick and practical overseas forestation information.

To provide practical and useful information on overseas forestation for the individuals and private companies seeking opportunities to enter overseas market, we will continue our efforts to build new contents and update the system. We are looking forward to seeing your continuous interest and active use of the system.

Thank you.
